2010 Call for projects
There are 3 main selection criteria that need to be taken into account when submitting a project:
- Firstly: Similar to last year, the main focus of the Proximus Foundation will be on disadvantaged children and youngsters. Destitute refers to those suffering from a disability or the unfavourable social situations in which they live.
- Secondly: ALL associations that are active in this sector can submit their project. It is no longer a requirement to be able to hand out tax deductibility certificates. From now on, associations who don’t have the Ministry of Financial Affairs’ agreement, can still count on financial support.
- Thirdly: Following the successful collaboration from last year, the call for projects will again be managed by the King Baudouin Foundation (KBF).
What does this mean for the participating associations?
Thanks to the collaboration with KBF we have an extra guarantee of assuring a smooth follow up on the projects. The specialists from KBF will give us the right advice and they will help you through the whole process of the call for projects. From now on, the tax deductibility condition that held back many associations from enrolling in the call for projects will no longer be an issue.
Just like last year, we have opted to limit ourselves to supporting projects which focus on disadvantaged children. The Proximus Foundation aims to give children in unfortunate circumstances a happier childhood. In order to have a lasting impact, we’ve decided to narrow our focus down to one target group.
